Cinema Paradiso
We are proud to present the venues that Social Cinema Bromley calls home - two local venues in Bromley that share our values for togetherness, friendship and community.
We dont have reclining seats, we dont have state of the art full sound and image immersion technology fully WAP enabled (or whatever it is) but we do have a love of film, the friendliest welcome and people who come to our films have a great time...
Southey Brewing Co
Located in Penge, this small taproom bunches way above its weight - run by an amazing team of local ale enthusiasts this small but friendly venue is the perfect location to show a collection of classic movies - all while enjoying locally brewed beer.
Social Cinema Bromley can be found 'Upstairs At The Taproom on the second Thursday of each month. We start inviting people into the cinema space from 1830, but of course, arrive early and enjoy a drink.
Capacity is 22, and we set out the chairs and tables in a traditional cinema layout.
Wickham Theatre Centre
To be found just off Corkscrew Hill in West Wickham, this small but mighty theatre is the perfect setting for a range of films. With a well stocked bar, and plenty of parking our friends here couldn't be more supportive of Social Cinema Bromley.
We show films here on the second Friday of every month, and we have plans for a range of classic heritage films that you just wont see anywhere else in Bromley, or even possibly in London.
Capacity is about 50 people and we use a set up whereby you sit around tables with views of the screen - its a little more social, and you have somewhere to park your drink!
